What are music fans saying:

CD "Chart of Yore":

M.V.: "Could be used as a musical story. Since I know the story, I am imagining the hero crowling through the desert in the last song..."

P.P.: "I can feel the spirit of the groups you listen to and you were inspired by..."

H.R., S.W.: "It sounds very professional. It's evident, that you have been working on it long time. Some songs have ghotic and medieval feeling..."

P.W.: "You should have shown up with it ten years ago. But today? It sounds like Black Sabbath - Tyr. By the way this LP is not very well valued by the critics. It may be good, but... I really hate the keys in it, choirs sound good. But I find the general sound quite cut. There is nothing below 100 Hz..."

P.N.: "You made on a computer what guys as Deep Purple or Rolling Stones used to play in for men 30 years ago. But quite good collage of what you like. Bonehead."

P.V.: "I would never think that you have such depressions..."

D.T.: "I expected something very hard from you but I was nicely surprised by this..."

A.H., L.C., G.K.: "I like it, especially the song Day of St. Eveline..."

P.F.: "Evidently you were inspired by Petr Janda and Olympic..."

V.B.: "I was surprised by amazing variety of your music, number of styles. Great guitar. Solo singing is little uncertain but the choruses sound well..."

M.F.: "I find it very often as a musical story. It's quite complicated, too combined. The rhythm is changing often, it's about conceptional. Simply complicated, at least for the first listening."

J.B.: "I like the song Gate to Oasis. Sounds very Celtic. It is quite simple in comparison with the others, but there is power in it. Make simple stuff..."

L.K.: "You learned singing about well. The third song is classical. In the fourth there is too simple bass."

M.M.: "The first song reminds me Pink Floyd and Jethro Tull. A bass is missing in it."

B.K.: "It has atmosphere as The Doors..."

L.D.: "It's quite hard for me. But the unique feeling of whole CD is much more important for me. I was impressed by the lyrics and especially the understandable conception of what you wanted to say to the world."

R.P.: "For Czech conditions it's more than amazing and interesting. It's easy to keep the track of your idols in it. Maybe their influence disturbs sometimes. There are ideas for 2 CDs, anyway it's a special stuff. I can't wait for next one."

B.S.: "Great sound you have there! Listening to your music, I was very impressed with your diversity as an artist! Judging from what I just heard, you've got quite the studio set up over there! Especially enjoyed Gate To Oasis. Quite a dynamic song... The guitars, both electric and acoustic are very well played, the orchestral sounds work nicely, and your vocals are strong, and sung with a lot of feeling too."

R.S.: "Although I'm not a Metal freak, I really Liked Tale Of Love and Gate To Oasis. I also really liked Chart Of Yore Medley but Tale Of Love was definitely my favorite one."

X.Y.: "Some songs sound like Waltari and some like Ceske srdce..."

*.*: "...Ozzy Osbourne ... Metallica ... Savatage ... Candlemass ... King Diamond ... who composed it??"

CD "Shiver of the Mind":

M.F.: "Incredible CD, I felt asleep as a baby during the listening. But what I still heard - about three compositions - it's not bad. There are no rules in it, but I expected some kakophonic hard shit. But it's only such a strumming, really quite good. Quite relaxation music. It's okay!"

Song "Day of St. Eveline":

L.G.: "I would not listen to it just as a music, but it would fit to a movie or theater..."

Pros: "Spooky and intense sounding. Ozzie meets Vanilla Fudge. Nice changes and very moody. Would be very good for a movie track."

Cons: "A little dated sounding. Vocals may limit marketability. Lyrical content did not seem to match the quality of the rest of the song."

Pros: "Left me feeling lonely."

Cons: "Not much direction."

Pros: "Shows that there's work involved in the piece."

Cons: "Not alternative, it's prog rock and sorry but I'm not really into prog rock."

Pros: "Definitely an interesting intro. Where's this going????? Your playing is well done, but this is not alternative. Instrumental rock maybe?"

Cons: "Alternative????? I think it fits more into the rock genre than alternative."

Pros: "Pop Classic organ workout with inspirational text."

Cons: "The drum fills don't match the organ at all in timbre also the drums fills are at cross purposes with the middle section. Then the drums disappear. Here is what I would do. Thunderstorm with no music, text at the begining with the dotted eigth note figure. TYMPANI!!! The the organ fugue at the end as a symbol of the inspiration and blessing."

Song "Ignorance in Anomaly":

Pros: "Love that Wicked Commodore 64 sound man! Mixing 80's metal/rock with vintage electronics is totally weird but i like it! Wish Iron Maiden would have tought of that! :)"

Cons: "None."

Pros: "Woooooo, I need some acid for this one."

Pros: "I don't have to buy those mushrooms I've been saving for now."

Cons: "WOW what was that a five minute intro? Okay guys the begining is just too damn long. You almost lost me. This song has potential. But when you post it out here you've gotta catch my attention in about 10 seconds."

Song "Unfathomable Awakening":

Pros: "Nice song. Remindes me of my metalica days."

Pros: "Music reminds me of Operation Mindcrime by Queensryche. If you never heard that CD, go buy it and listen to it. By the way, this song is really great."

Cons: "Hard rock instrumentation conflicts with gentle vocals and phrasing - needs work."

Pros: "Very Passionate."

Cons: "This song is a just a little too heavy for my taste."

Cons: "Toooo controlled... Needs more Pitch and speed."

Song "Anxious":

Pros: "Nice recording, great tones, nice playing, great job..."

Cons: "Hook is a bit over played and gets repetitive after awhile."

Pros: "Great dual leads Very tastefully performed. Good flow. Very good music."

Cons: "I gave a little lower score for Market Potential because the Market is really not interested in good music. Your stuff is good music."

Pros: "Very nice guitar work!! I loved the guitar harmony! Nice chord phrasing also. Great Job! Keep it up!!"

Song "Path to Pandemonium"

Pros: "Decent metal"

Cons: "Ten years to late."

Pros: "Cool thrash/power metal kind of feel... Solid playing, high energy... Vocals sounded good and edgy. The change of feel in the mid was nice too.

Cons: "Programmed drums are not very convincing... But if a "fake" drum feel was what you were going for, that's good. The blues mid section saved the song from sounding like another King Diamond song.... But felt a little out of place."

Song "Fire and Water":

Pros: "The composition itself is excellent. It reminds me of a Dream Theatre type of comp. that puts you into a mood straight away. I like the development and release of tension happening here...the guitars sound good...I think the strength here is the composition....oh yeah, where the drums are playing two beats off (1) puts up a cool sycopated feel...Audio Quality and Stereo Image excellent...."

Cons: "There is no such thing as a con with music. You dig it or you don't, and having said that......The only thing that bothered me was the quantized feel of the midi instruments employed. The keys and pads in particular. The piece has that computer metronome feel. I would love to hear this again with more humanized if not human performances. It may have been your intention as it is, thanks for sharing it with us...."

Cons: "Not much here for me. Just because your synth has 256 voices, doesn't mean you should use them all."

Pros: "Interesting"

Cons: "Long"

Pros: "Very interesting flow - as if someone was riding on a river in a canoe....different scenery, different places. A very nicely done piece, very reminiscent of something that "Dream Theater" or "Yes" or even "Saga" or "the Dregs" might have come up with. I can at least see their influence in the song's construction. Nicely done!"

Cons: "Very little to find at fault with this piece. It might be fun to see what this would sound like with a bit more stereo-spread on the guitar with a dash of chorusing/doubling and a slight delay on some of the more spacious-sounding background. A "hook" would be hard to find in this style of music, so I'm not sure if it's really necessarry - you might want to try having some kind of a repeated measure in two or three of the openings of each part of this song to tie it together a bit more."

Pros: "Excellent need I say any more. Yes I do I love the addition of the heavier guitar. Very well done congrats."

Pros: "Interesting blend of synthetiser and violin. Nice progression in the melody. Good mood music. I classified it at first as as classical (though it seemed electronically produced), then it changed to alternative and then to rock, going through ambiance! It seems to cover all the styles with ease! Good musicianship, just about all the instuments & genres are showcased!"

Cons: "Impossible to classify!"

Pros: "Very Dream Theater-ish."

Cons: "Intro way to long."

Pros: "This is tremendous talent of musicianship and instrumentation. A whole and accurate visionary experience from the first note. Emotion and innerfeelings start to erupt only to be reasoned with soothing and convincing electric guitar. As anger overcomes reasoning, drama sets the scene for a moody feel and desperate anticiptation. Ending with a full 2 minutes of an electrifying fictional conclusion. This is one of the best pieces of music, arraigement wise and production wise around the sites. If I was on "Broadway", I would pick this up these people up for soundtrack work. Excellent!!"

Cons: "None..."

Pros: "Nice melodies, the guitar sounds killer, so does the violin, beautiful layers."

Cons: "The synth sounds are a bit stale, drum machines suck, needs to be mixed a bit better."

Pros: "Go into soundtracking, if you're not already in it."

Cons: "Intro sounds like a movie soundtrack. A b-movie soundtrack. When does the intro end? Jesus! I just realized this song is 8 friggen minutes! Sorry, I'm out."

Pros: "I like the intro... very dramatic and cinematic sound, this actually reminds me of a softer version of something Dream Theatre might do, interesting and storylike instrumental music, very commercial oriented sound."

Cons: "Maybe its because of my ADD but seems just a bit long, the drums don't sound nearly as full as the guitars and almost machine produced... need some enhancement either way."

Pros: "Electronic/Classical/Rock. Good fusion of the three. Alot of work in this - very advanced. Keep it up."

Cons:
"Sounds right out a video game. Need a cleaner recording."

Pros: "WOW...very nice. Captivating."

Cons: "Guitar slightly out of intonation in one or two spots (barely noticable though)"

Pros: "I think this would make a good soundtrack... Feels like classical with modern instruments... Very well performed."

Cons: "It's starts rambling off in places."

Pros: "Couple of interesting ideas with lead guitar."

Cons: "Keyboards and rhythm need work, too repetitive overall, good idea, but needs much more development."

Pros: "Interesting mood instrumental. Useful for soundtrack. Add 1/2 a point as background music."

Cons: "Not a song - more useful as background."

Pros: "Really creative and different with regards to instrumentation and arrangement. Love it."

Cons: "Very narrow focus as far as marketability is concerned. But should do really well with guitar based rock genre. I'd buy it!"

Pros: "Action movie soundtrack..."

Cons:
"Too long..."

Pros: "Great song for a movie. A lot of different theams working together. Instruments were well played."

Cons: "It got pretty long. Most listeners lose interrest pretty fast if you dont give them lyrics."

Pros: "Make a great soundtrack to an epic movie... I'd like to hear it with an orchestra."

Cons: "I'd also like to hear it without the heavy metal guitar... Nice piece..."

Pros: "Good groove, I like the variations and the instrumentation."

Pros: "Lots of changes make this song interesting."

Cons: "Serious intonation problems with lead guitar and violin parts. Very processed sound. Plus, someone has a sequencer that they love to use."

Song "Prayer to the Rising Sun":

Pros: "Killer Intro."

Cons: "Intro was killer just a little too long. Edit out guitar bit before, you didnt need a second intro it kind of pulled the strength of the intro down. Go straight in to the verse and it will be really interesting. When you broke down the song for the lead it sounded like the timing went out the window. Are you using a click track. Dam now I am listening again and you've gone in to to much of an 80's guitar hero stuff. If you are going to keep what youve arranged then you could use a better lead. It kind of got lame. (Sorry I play guitar since I was a child and I am trained). Song is way way too long you should go pro tools and edit it down alot. Killer outro (end) concentrate on really bringing the time down. The song in a whole is very confusing."

Pros: "Solid band performance."

Cons: "Lyrically and vocally challenged...doesn't hold listener."

Song "Tale of Love":

J.G., T.R., T.R.: "9/10 stars! Very good, very pretty. You are a talented guitarist. Keep up the good work!"

J.W.: "I Like your stuff. One of the few people I've heard on Broadjam that are writing original music. Nice work with the drum machine. You've got a great voice as well as great guitar talents. I would recommend however, backing off a little on the reverb on your recordings. It covers up the details which you've spent a lot of time working on."

Pros: "Very Progressive... Reminiscent of Queen in places. Love the instrumentation. Clearly all great musicians including singer. I'd love to hear more. Very epic feeling. Unfortunately its too good for the mass market. Would work on a small label, but don't expect to make much money from this. Fans that appreciate this music are few and far between."

Cons: "A little too much reverb makes it hard to understand lyrics and makes it a little too concert hall ish. It would make everything much stronger to peel back some of the effects. This is good stuff... You don't need all the reverb to cover it up."

Pros: "Love it... Very Pink Floyd, a little bit o' Classic sound on this one."

Cons: "Vocals could be a little more clear, to much effect... But I love it. Work on guitar tones so they don't sound so PODDISH, or recorded direct. Keep it up."

Pros: "Psuedo-flamenco beginning was interesting but doesn't fit the rest of the tune. Have talent though..."

Cons: "Wierd... Obviously European..."

Cons: "A bit scary & weird."

Pros: "I am speechless... Thats what you want right? Well I am...in a good way I think."

Cons: "WTF? Did I just hear..."

Song "Gate to Oasis":

Pros: "Excellent sounding mix! All instruments came through very nicely. Good song."

Pros: "Nice harmony on guitars - good instrumentation."

Pros: "Music and words matched well. Very well done. I'm there's people out there that would enjoy you music."

Cons: "Sounds too familiar - like something I've heard before or a Jethro Tull song."

Pros: "My favorite part was the flute/ instrumental. It was uplifting and lilting and overall beautiful. I enjoyed the singing but the instrumental more. I like the overall sound."

Cons: "The mix for my ear did not allow me to hear the lyrics. I'm on a laptop and that's limiting here, but it was still "muddy" and that was distracting for me. I'd like to see you try some different mix arrangements. Mixing, is ofcourse, so individual in preference."

Pros: "Ambitious."

Cons: "I can't understand what you're saying - production doesn't live up to the ambitious goal."

Cons: "Unbalanced recording levels, either too loud or vocals lost in backgroud, mix needs to be cleaned up. Try mixing the final through a smaller speaker so you will have a feel for your total soound. If you only mix it through headphones or good speakers your outcome may not sound the same on smaller speakers."

Pros: "Nice brisk pace."

Cons: "The 5:20 length is a bit long for commercial consideration. Actual vocals begin at 1:20 (long after the A&R man has hit the STOP button - unfortunately)."

Song "Silenstvi":

Pros: "Definitely liked the sound and mood."

Cons: "A more agressive drum track would add to the intensity."

Pros: "Passionate vocal. It sucked me in right away, kept my interest. The verse and the bridge are pretty cool. Early Cocteau Twins feeling."

Cons: I don't like the power chords on the chorus. Music sounds dated, a bit oversung in places (verses) but I like the screaming on the bridge."

Cons: "Have no idea what language is spoken."

Song "Svaty bez hlavy":

Pros: "Great instrumentation and arrangement. I like to vocals even though I do not understand the language. Excellent scream vocals near the end."

Cons: "I think this should be in the World Genre."

Pros: "Good emotion in voice sounds like a musical - dramatic something."

Cons: "I clicked on POP - this doesn't seem pop. Not great for just listening. Needs visuals to make sense."

Pros: "Seems to be a nice storytelling track."

Cons: "What language is this?"
