Zdenek Valecko was born in Karlovy Vary in 1973. The town is situated
in the Czech Republic in the middle of Europe. He lives here till
present.
His music roots lie in legendary rock band Beatles, followed by
home bands Olympic and Turbo. At the age of fourteen Zdenek began
to sing and play Spanish guitar. During these years he started to
long for electric guitar.
Couple of years later Zdenek´s interest moved from rock to metal.
His favorite bands were Europe, Helloween, Manowar, Candlemass, King
Diamond, Yngwie Malmsteen´s Rising Force, Deep Purple, Dream Theater.
Zdenek got his first guitar at the age of eighteen. It was copy
of legendary Gibson Les Paul. During next five years he decided
to build some guitar apparatuses and effects because he loved superb
guitar sound. Many times Zdenek tried to play in some bands with
many people but he was not satisfied with quality of co-players
and style of work. So, still wanting to realize his own songs Zdenek
decided to build his own recording studio. There he can record any
music project he wants, independently on any other people.
Originally Zdenek wanted to create only guitar works but he loves
great metal bands with singers like Eric Adams, Bruce Dickinson,
Ian Gillan, Mike Kiske etc. So he tried to sing like these masters.
His recording studio ACR was finished in 1997. Zdenek created here
some commercial spots, demos and masterings. Current most successful
CD "Chart of Yore" is his first larger project. It is one of three
intended parts of trilogy "Introspection" about Muddy´s journey through
life. So Introspection 2 is going to follow.
