Research projects are performed in the order they are agreed on and according to the conditions at particular archives, usually within 3 - 6 months. Reports are provided in English, Czech or German. The main output are excerpts from birth, marriage and death registers.

The low fees result from the devaluated Czech currency. Should any changes occur, clients will be notified immediately. This would only be considered upon serious changes in the value of the Czech currency. No major monetary expenses will be incurred without first notifying the client of price and cause.

It is helpful both to the client and the researcher to establish if you have a monetary limit, e.g. $150, 300, 500 etc, before work is started. Payments for services are expected when the work is done. A bank fee (1%, minimum $6.00) will be included in the bill. The payments can be made in various ways:

Most of my clients send me a personal check. Other kinds of checks (cashier's checks, money orders) are accepted too. Direct payment can be performed during your visit to our country.

Direct deposit to my account through your bank is possible too. But the bank fee is usually much higher (around $30) in that case.

Feel free to ask me any question about my services and rates as well as share this information with anyone interested.

Note on e-mail: As I spend most of my days on the road or in the archives - and so have limited internet access - it may be some time before I get a chance to reply to your mails. Be assured, I will reply as soon as possible.

New to international calling? When dialing from the U.S. dial: 011, then the country code (420), then the full number.

Warning: Your home long distance carrier may charge as much as $3.00 per MINUTE or MORE! Ask your service provider for the international rates before you call. There are several dial-up international calling services in the US, my US Webmaster uses 10-10-987, and pays 11cents per minute and 39 cents to connect for calls to the Czech Republic. B-I-G difference. Go to their website to learn more about international calling and how to connect. http://www.1010987.com
