Scar prevention
Scars as well as other skin defects may be a big problem, especially
when they are visible at first sight. Medicine defines a scar as
a connective tissue which replaces the original skin and interferes
in the corium and hypodermis. The connective tissue is regenerated
during healing process but it looks different than healthy skin.
In accordance with the amount of the newly developed connective
tissue there are atrophic, plastic or hypertrophic scars.
There are different methods and combinations for correcting scars,
but it is always necessary to distinguish the scar's character and
look, location and overall skin quality.

Dermalift
Dermalift is an innovative treatment of acne scarring and face
wrinkles and lines. The method has been successfully tested in specialist
clinics abroad and Prague Clinic is the first clinic in the
Czech Republic to offer this treatment to their clients.
In the main, it is a deep peeling, chemical action of an original
medical solution on the face skin. The treatment is undertaken using
analgesia (a minor form of short- term anaesthesia) due to an unpleasant
itching feeling experienced during application.
The total healing time is 10 days. You can spend this period
in Clinic and use physiotherapic or other preventive programs.
After ten days the skin quality is very natural, smooth and sometimes
slightly pink. The skin is also sensitive to sunlight so it is recommended
to use sun protective creams with SPF 20.
The effects of Dermalift are of course long lasting; it is
for several years for the wrinkle treatment (depending on client's
lifestyle) and permanently for scars (if there is no new acne).
The treatment can be repeated if necessary.
A short and easy healing, surface application, short-time anaesthesia

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabasion is a type of digital vacuum dermabrasion. It
is a very gentle method of mechanical peeling using repetitive,

and pores are softer. The method is recommended as a part of preventive
skin care. Nowadays it is very popular worldwide.
To achieve the best results 5 - 7 visits are required, sometimes
more depending on the skin type and age.
Another significant advantage of this method is that after the
treatment the skin is only slightly red like after sunbathing, there
are no visible and disturbing marks or swellings present. It is
possible to undergo the treatment during your lunch break (it takes
45 minutes), the whole procedure is very relaxing.
