Directions to our house


From the airport (Ruzyne):

bus + metro bus # 119 (use 12 Kc ticket - ticket machines are in the airport hall at the exit doors) you can take it in front of airport hall and I would take you to nearest metro stop "Dejvicka" line A. Just 6th stop by the underground is "Museum". (You need 12 Kc ticket - you can use the same one from the bus if you are not exceeding 60 min. limit - starting time is printed on the ticket.) From here you will go through a small park of the National Muzeum diagonally, on the left hand side you will pass a white lady statue, you go through a tunnel and steps on the right hand side up. Now you are in Celakovskeho sady street. Our house is the last house at the corner.
Taxi you can get easy. But negotiate the price before you use it. We can recommend to you van Service "CEDAZ - Airport Centrum" - They drive you to any accommodation located in centre of Prague for the price: 1-4 person - 360,- Kc total (approx. 11 USD), 5-8 person - 720,- Kc total (approx. 22USD)


From Railway or Bus Stations:

All the stations are located just at metro. Therefore it is easy to get to us. Railway: - "Praha hl. nadrazi" (Main Railway Station ) - on line "C" - 1 stop to "Museum" - Praha Holesovice - on line "C" - 4 stops to "Museum" Bus Station - "Florenc" (the main one) - on line "C" - 2 stops to "Museum. From here you will go through a small park of the National Muzeum diagonally, on the left hand side you will pass a white lady statue, you go through a tunnel and steps on the right hand side up. Now you are in Celakovskeho street. Our house is the last house at the corner.


By CAR:

1.approaching Prague from South East and from South on highway (from Brno D1, E65) - just cross the bridge over the "Nusle" valley (at the beginning of the bridge are: high building - hotel "Forum" on your right hand side and Palace of Culture on your left hand side), turn right after third light crossing to our street. It is a small street marginal the park behind the National Museum. See you map, if you want.

2.approaching Prague from West - on highway from Pilsen ( D5, E50) - the easiest way for you would be to (merge) get also to highway from Brno and than follow directions described above. (You may also drive through the city (through suburban Kosire, Smichov a Nove Město, but it may be more complicated for you.)

3.approaching Prague from North-West (e.g. Karlovy Vary #6 or E48 or Chomutov #7) - you will be led by the signs to "centrum" through the suburban (Brevnov or Dejvice) and latter you will join the"city vessel highway"- direction to Brno. Passing Main Railway Station, Opera Theatre and Museum (on you left hand side). Once you drive by Museum, turn on the second traffic lights to the left, and then to the left on the next one and after next light crossing you will turn right to the our street. 4.approaching Prague from North (e.g. from Usti n. Labem, Teplice etc. - D8, E55) - this highway brings you to the "city vessel highway"- direction to Brno. Passing by Main Railway Station, Opera Theatre and Museum (on you left hand side) Once you drive by Museum, turn on the second traffic lights to the left and then to the left on the next one and after next light crossing you will turn right to the our street. 5.approaching Prague from East and North East (from Turnov #10, E 65, Podebrady D11, E 67 or Kolin #12) - we recommend you to use the beltway to get to highway from Brno (D1) and then follow according first paragraph above.
