According to the European Radio Committee's November 2005 report on the member states' implementation of EU norms for short-range devices and WLANs, Cypress has implemented most of the norms. The exceptions are mainly in the 800 MHz band - e.g., wireless audio devices and alarms, RFID tags, road traffic telematics, etc.

The consultation document is in Greek; the new license-exempt category is short-range automotive radar in the 21.65 - 26.65 GHz band. The consultation ran from 20 May to 20 June 2005.

"Δημόσια Διαβούλευση - Εξουσιοδοτήσεις Συστημάτων Ασύρματης Πρόσβασης (ΣΑΠ)," (Public Consultation - Authorisations of Systems of Wireless Access [SAP]) in Greek - this consultation during the spring of 2006 concerned the authorization of fixed and mobile systems in the 3.4-3.6 GHz and 24.5-26.5 GHz bands.
