Introduction
In 2004, there are five JOA courses :
For these courses, the CCR is recruiting the following instruments :
violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trompet, trombone, ophicléide, serpent and percussion.

Chamber music
Will be determined based on demand for the course, but will include works by Mozart, Beethoven, Krommer, Hummel. Brass Special course for brass players, lead by the Orchestre des Champs-Élysées’ trombonist Harry Ries. Places exist for trumpets, horns, trombones, ophicléide and serpent. Program Woodwinds Course on classical and romantic instruments. Places exist for flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoons, horns.

Cost
The course fees include tuition, room,
and board. In some cases, financial assistance may be awarded by the AFDAS, a
French agency. In general, non-French students should try to locate funding
sources in their own country. Membership in the Abbaye aux Dames is required, 10
€/year membership fee.

European Tour In 2004, musicians who participated in the July 2003 course will go on tour in Portugal and Spain (from April 25 to May 3, 2004). This tour only concerns the students from the Advanced Studies Program in 2002/2003 and the students who attended the JOA in July 2003. Remaining places will go to musicians who are accepted to the new Advanced Studies Program (2004/2005). .
