• Canterbury Christ Church University College has produced a very nice eight-part tutorial for Word 97. The contents are as follows:
  • Part 1: Getting started, Entering text, Correcting, Saving, Printing
  • Part 2: Basic layout, Paragraphs, Alignment of text, Tabs, Indents
  • Part 3: Spelling and grammar checking, Using the thesaurus
  • Part 4: Selecting, moving, copying and deleting text
  • Part 5: Selecting text, Formatting text - using bold, italic, underline. Changing fonts and font sizes
  • Part 6: Tables
  • Part 7: Using the outline mode
  • Part 8: Adding a graphic, Formatting a picture, Moving and resizing a picture, Adding and using a text box.

  This site also has tutorials for other applications, such as Access 2000, Acrobat Reader, Excel, FrontPage Express, Internet Explorer 5.0, PowerPoint 2000, etc.
