This website was created by students at Sharjah Women's College for a project on famous explorers. I offer it here as an example of the sort of website students can create as part of an English course. The students had no previous experience of website creation and so the basic design was supplied by the teacher, and the overall template (header and footer) was supplied by the college Ed Tech department. The students were shown how to insert content and were able to create subsequent pages on their own.

Here are a few examples of activities created using Hot Potatoes.
| Spell Flash
Here is a series of spelling activities which were created for the British Council's Peackepeeping English Project in Lviv, Ukraine. The activities accompany the Campaign coursebook and are for elementary level students. (Click on Click to see the word and the word flashes above the box. Type in the word and then click Check to check your answer.) To find out how to create your own exercises using the Spell Flash program, click here.
