DOG'S PRAYER
My lord,
It is said I am the better friend of the man.
It's true.
I am making the best for thou,
what I can do and what I know to do.
I adore thou as the God.
Thou can read trust and love in my eyes.
I exert to return like by like the well ,
which thou give me.
I am growing old alongside thou and yours children,
I am looking about yours' house,
I guide blind men,
I save men from the ruin and snow-slip,
I draw a sledge,
I help to catch criminals, I entertain men in maneges of circuses,
I rack cruel pain in research laboratories
to keep your health.
I twirl with my little tail ever and anon
to thank thou for your care,
to welcome thou back in yours home
and show my pleasure.
If all man would leave you off,
I'll stay with you up to the death.
I beseech thou, my lord,
don't leave me neither thou
and let me spend my dog's life besides thou
up to it's final end.
I will be so thankful and faithful as newer on whole the word.
