Alastair

Alastair is a Czech-Scots band exploring the traditions of Irish, Scottish and Shetland folk music, employing a unique range of styles both borrowed and imagined.

the history

The band was born in 2006 to accompany the Irish Sisters, an Irish step dance group based in the North of the Czech Republic. Since then the band has created its own niche and plays on its own 8 feet at weddings, festivals and other events both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
